Event Invitations
Virtual events are a huge success, always more requested. Before sharing an online event, it’s essential to share the invites with your guests. Just like physical events, even virtually it’s vital to invite people to an event, to make it more fun and engaging.
Based on the platform you will use for your online event, you can send invites via email, where you can share a link to access the event.
If the event is through Instagram or Facebook, it’s enough clicking on “add”, and once guests accept your invite, the screen will split in two, with the primary user on top and guests below.
Telegram’s video invites
You can share an event invite through Telegram too, using Telegram’s video messages.
We all know how short our span of attention is. External distractions always surround us, and even when most of us are working remotely, we still have our phone ringing, TV playing, notifications ringing and emails popping up. Therefore, now more than ever, it’s important to plan something catchy when you invite your guests to your event, be that hybrid or virtual (hopefully soon fully F2F too!).
Telegram is perfect for that. With its unique features, Telegram is now much more exciting and evolved compared to WhatsApp. Of course, you will need to download Telegram’s App to be able to use it on your smartphone.
Video messages on Telegram are recorded with the frontal camera or back and sent to another user, group or channel that you manage. These messages take a round shape and play in a loop. The video starts right away and to listen to the audio; you only need to tap on the circle.
To record a video message on Telegram, click on the microphone icon on the left lower corner. There is no need to hold this icon while you record.
A camera will appear and will start recording. The screen will have different features, including the recording icon, which allows you to make two separate actions. With a left swipe you delete the recording, while with a swipe up the recording icon will be blocked, so you that you can keep recording your video message.
And finally, even if you leave the chat while the video message is playing, this will follow the user with a floating circle until the reproduction ends.
If you have an Apple Laptop, you can even download Telegram and have it on your computer.
