How to register with Rox Event Staff
If you think you’re a perfect fit for the Rox Event Staff team, please
If your initial application is successful, we will be in touch to arrange a face-to-face casting. We kindly remind you that your application is our first impression of you. We recruit the most professional event staff worldwide to represent our clients at their events, handpicking the most suited and experienced event staff for our clients’ sectors, based on your skills and personality.
If we believe you could be a good match for one of our clients, we will present your profile to them, based on your availability, experience and suitability to representing their brand.
Clients are more likely to select your profile if they see you are experienced in their industry, which could be beauty, finance, IT, sales, F&B, luxury or fashion, to name a few. Therefore, please include all of your experience to increase your chances of being selected by our clients.
Once you completed the registration process you will be asked to complete a mandatory 40 minutes COVID-19 training.
This way we make sure you, our clients and event attendees stay safe.
Photographs
Photographs must be professional, taken in a studio or on location.
Event photos are a great advantage on your profile, as they are visual examples of you working at corporate events or promotional jobs in business attire or promotional uniform. This helps the client to have a clearer idea of how you would look if they decided to book you for one of their events.
Please note that pictures that are photoshopped, airbrushed or edited will not be accepted.
Please make sure the photos you upload are only of you and they do no include other people in the picture.
The photos should be clear pictures of you taken within the last six months. If you change your physical appearance, such as hair colour, in any way, please notify us with new pictures and we will update your profile accordingly.
Getting to know each other
We will invite you to an initial Skype interview to know a bit more about each other. We also hold face-to-face castings every month to meet new applicants in person. Our team often attends our clients’ events so we can see you in action and get some more pictures for your profile with Rox Event Staff.
Eligibility
All applicants are required to upload a copy of their passport and visa (if required) as a proof of ID and to verify that you can legally work in the UK.
You must be fluent in English and educated to degree level.
Payment
We only hire self-employed staff. This means you have to register as a freelancer and apply for a UTR number (https://www.gov.uk/log-in-file-self-assessment-tax-return/register-if-youre-not-self-employed). Being self-employed makes you responsible for your own tax and National Insurance contribution.
We highly recommend that freelancers have their own insurance when working for Rox Event Staff.
After the assignment is completed, we expect you as a freelancer to invoice us at info@roxeventstaff.com and your payment will be received within 30 days of receipt of the invoice
Rates of pay will be agreed for each individual job.
Please, do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
