We are busy preparing to bounce back to work post lockdown, and after receiving recent enquiries from Clients re: Covid-19 trained staff to work at events, we put together a nationwide task force. For our event hosts and event hostesses to work for these roles, we require them to complete a Covid-19 training module, outsourced with a third party College, which regularly updates all information, making sure our staff is always aware of the latest discoveries on the virus.
The course they take about COVID-19 explains to them how to prevent infection and how event hosts and event hostesses should work at events to keep themselves, our clients, and event attendees safe and reducing risks. They must complete the course, achieving at least 80% in the final test, which lasts approximately 40 minutes.
We believe this is the responsible and professional thing to do, ensuring that we are going back to what we do brilliantly. This way, our professional event staff doesn’t rely on fake news and rumours, putting themselves, our clients and event visitors in danger. We also require all staff to complete the module before we book any of them on any other jobs. Upon successfully completing the short course our event hosts and event hostesses will be issued with a certificate, which is available as part of our event hosts and event hostesses’ profile to all our clients, at no additional cost.

This part of our event hosts and event hostesses COVID-19 training will look at different symptoms the virus creates and what different age groups risk.
Besides, this part of the training carefully teaches them how to manage a potential person showing COVID-19 symptoms.
COVID-19 Event Staff training on preventing the spread of the disease
On this fourth part of our event hosts and event hostesses COVID-19 training, they will learn how to minimise and prevent the spread of the disease. It starts with looking into social distancing and self-isolation, following the government’s guidelines and why these prevention strategies are effective.
This COVID-19 training then teaches our staff to prevent the spread of the virus both at work and with the general public. The course explains in detail about PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), hand washing practice, personal hygiene and efficient cleaning. As we explained in our last blog post “The COVID-19 Plan We Shared with Our +2k Amazing Event Staff”, we provide our event hosts and event hostesses with anti-bacterial sanitising wipes and Alcohol Hand Sanitisers.
Event Staff safely working from home on virtual events and at in-person events against COVID-19
In this part of our event hosts and event hostesses COVID-19 training, they will learn how to work both from home during virtual events and at face-to-face events in a safe way. As mentioned, the information is continuously kept up to date by our Third Party College with new government’s guidelines and discoveries.
Event Staff learns about the new events’ environment they will face
In this final chapter, our event hosts and event hostesses are COVID-19 trained about the impact the virus had on society and what new working environment they will face. Here they will learn about ‘flattening the curve’ and how this is related to COVID-19’s R number. Trained Event Staff will learn about lifting restrictions and about the latest figures on contagion and decease rates, which is all updated continuously by our trustworthy Third Party College.

Their certification will be available for all our clients, at no additional cost.
